About the Competition:

 

The purpose of this competition is to honor young musicians who are well-versed in music theory and writing music. We are calling young musicians to submit an original composition score and a performance video of a score. Musicians age up to 21 are invited to enter this competition. Up to three (3) winning compositions will be eligible for a Grand Prize, Second Prize and Third prize respectively.

 

Judges: Johan de Meij, composer/conductor (Netherlands); Michael Dadap, composer/conductor (Philippines), Linda Litwin, violinist and educator, Harmony for Peace (USA), Tomoko Torii, Harmony For Peace (Japan); Shacker Mourad (Egypt), Harmony For Peace; Lisa Picker, Peace Committee (St. Louis); Michael Picker, Peace Committee (St. Louis)
