Tohoku Pacific Earthquake & Tsunami Relief
It has been almost eleven months since the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred off the coast of Japan, on March 11, 2011. We at the Harmony For Peace Foundation would like to express our deepest sympathies to our friends in Japan, in particular, to those who have lost family and friends.

Past Local Events - 2011:
A free Maestro the Lion Children’s Concert to benefit Japanese Earthquake & Tsunami Relief was held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm in the auditorium at Lower Merion High School, 315 E Montgomery Ave, Ardmore PA. The program featured music from Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, and a very special guest soloist, 5th grader Isabella Egawa (pictured here), performed the first movement of the Bruch Violin Concerto. Donations to aid Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief were accepted at the door (All donations are tax deductible). This concert was sponsored by Lower Merion School District and Maestro’s Friends with help from Harmony for Peace Foundation and Japanese Association of Greater Philadelphia (JAGP).
