Dear Friends of Harmony For Peace,

It is at this time of the year, we feel so fortunate to have your support for our programs and initiatives.  Just a week ago, we held our magnificent Holiday Peace Concert at the Sterns Auditorium/Perelman Stage, at the spectacular Carnegie Hall in New York. Many of us are still feeling the excitement from the concert. We are so thankful that many friends of Harmony For Peace joined us to share the joy and celebration of the Holiday Concert. Over 2000 members filled the hall and 350 performers played and sang together at the concert.

The line up of the concert featuring Yeou-Cheng Ma (violin), Gohei Nishikawa (piano), Margaret Keys (soprano) joined by conductors Michael Dadap, Dragan Bubalo and Lawrence Markiewz and their respective orchestra/group,  Children’s Orchestra Society of New York, Concert Orchestra, InterSchools Orchestra of New York, St. Aidan’s Youth Choir; additionally Herricks High School Orchestra and Choir, Glen Cove High School Select Chorale, Our Lady of Mercy Academy Chorale, not to mentioned Harmony for Peace Jr. Peace and Music Ambassadors 2014 - 2016 and the finalists.

This unique holiday concert presented a memorable year-end for Harmony For Peace’s efforts by bringing together music and friends in New York City. The young performers invited to perform an inspirational and motivational opportunity to share their talents on one of the world’s premier stages while also performing alongside experienced and internationally known professional artists from several countries.  The local area youth choirs and orchestras will also perform together as a merged group, symbolizing global unity and friendship as they sing together a holiday medley to offer a true sense of "One Voice…One World." It certainly was a memorable evening filled with love and hope for harmonius world, presented in a true holiday spirit.
