Daniel Maimone, Tenor

 

 

 

 

Daniel Maimone is a recent graduate of the Master’s Program at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where he studied under the George Dieterle Scholarship. While at CCM, Mr. Maimone has performed the roles of Alred in Die Fledermaus, Mr. Owen in Postcard from Morocco, Peter Doyle in Miss Lonelyhearts, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Chavalier Danceny in The Dangerous Liaisons, and Dema in L’Egisto. At the Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca (Italy), he was seen as Ernesto in Don Pasquale. During the summers of 2008 and 2009, Daniel had the pleasure of working with Glimmerglass Opera and Wolf Trap Opera, two of the most prominent summer opera festivals in the country. Also in the summer of 2009, he gave a recital accompanied by orchestra for the Italian festival of Akron and was the featured soloist in concert with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. He was most recently on stage as the cover of Lorenzo in Bronx Opera’s production of Fra Diavolo.
