The Chester County Youth Choir & Chorale is a community youth vocal ensemble consisting of approximately 50 members from schools within and near Chester County Pennsylvania.
Chester County Youth Choir & Chorale is in its inaugural season, and within a few shorts months, January - April, has accomplished more than most established groups achieve in an entire year. The season has included their debut performance during the MLK Day of Service, and a Vocal Jazz Workshop led by re known Jazz musician and teacher Carol Frazier. The group has also been featured in local newspapers and invited to have their picture used by JW Pepper, a globally recognized music publisher. The group has also done various community service performances and held their 1st Spring Choral Concert With a Purpose on April 27, 2014 featuring the West Chester University Gospel Choir and the West Chester Dance Works. The concert collected food and supplies which were donated to the West Chester Food Cupboard.
Mrs. Carol Weaver, Director
Their conductor, Mrs. Carol Weaver is an award winning Choral Director and an experienced educator with over 35 years in the field of Music Education, Vocal Development and Musical Theater. Her private students receive top placement in District & State Choirs and her choral groups have consecutively received 1st place Superior Ratings and Judges Choice Awards at festivals and competitions. She is also a choral clinician and adjudicator for Music in the Parks Choral Festivals and Festival of Music.

The mission of the Chester County Youth Choir & Chorale is to impact young lives by providing opportunities for vocalists between the ages of 12 through 17 to experience the joy of music education in an ensemble setting.
The principal goal of the ensemble is to encourage each member to:
• achieve artistic excellence,
• strength of character,
• self-discipline and focus,
• self-confidence and self-expression,
• and a greater understanding of themselves and others.
