Harmony for Peace Foundation

Established in 2009, the non-for-profit organization (501(C) 3) aims to promote world peace and is particularly in support of nuclear non-proliferation through the unifying art of music.
  

Objectives:
 
·         To use the power of musical and visual arts to express our common humanity as a world community
      – i.e. concerts, art exhibitions, and performances.
 
·         To cultivate knowledge and public awareness – i.e. film screenings, seminars, lectures and forums.
 
·         To encourage peaceful, nonviolent actions and diplomacy - initiatives such as
“Gift of Peace, Senbazuru – Thousand Origami Cranes”
 
·         To share popular opinion towards peaceful and successful relations with people of diversity
